INTRODUZIONE

FISSAGGIO DELLA BASE RILEVATORE
La base può es se re fis sa ta:
ad una sca to la da in cas so Ingle se (pas so dei fori di fissaggio
50 mm) o Eu ro pea (pas so dei fori di fissaggio 70 mm);
ad una sca to la di mon tag gio eu ro pea FC450EMB;
di ret ta men te a sof fit to.

INTRODUCTION
The FC400 Se ries De tec tors, as sup plied, use a com mon
FC450IB Iso la tor Base as sem bly. Guid ance on mount ing and wir -
ing a FC450IB Iso la tor Base is given be low.
FIXING THE DECTOR BASE
The base may be fixed di rectly to:
Brit ish (fix ing cen tres 50mm) or Eu ro pean (fix ing cen tres
70mm) con duit box;
FC450EMB Euro Mount ing Box;
Di rectly to the ceil ing.
DETECTOR LOCATION
The lo ca tion of each de tec tor should have been de ter mined at the
sys tem de sign stage in ac cor dance with the site plan. The de tec -
tor bases must be mounted in ac cor dance with this plan. If prob -
lems arise then ref er ence to the sys tem de signer must be made.
The de tec tor base does not need align ing as the de tec tor LED is
vis i ble through 360°. How ever, the short cir cuit in di ca tor needs to
be vis i ble for fault lo ca tion.
FIXING THE DETECTOR BASE
TO A CONDUIT BOX
The de tec tor base is to be se cured di rectly to the con duit box with
two M4 pan head steel screws, zinc plated and pas si vat ed. The
fix ing slot al lows the mount ing to be fit ted to both B.E.S.A. con duit
boxes hav ing fit ting points at 50mm cen tres and Eu ro pean con duit
boxes with fit ting points at 70mm cen tres. For ease of fix ing, there
