6 "Attenuation control" mode

6.1 Main screen of "Attenuation control" mode

All entered data (user, product, operator) is repeated in the bottom frame
The left-hand buttons follow the attenuation control test sequence
To go to the next step, click the "right arrow" button
return to the previous page, click the "left arrow" button or Page Up on your keyboard.
On-line help is available for each screen. Activate this by clicking the "?" button at the
bottom left of the screen

"Attenuation control" mode

6.2 Operator screen

The operator screen must only be initialized once. Data is stored and reloaded the next
time the software is activated.

6.3 Company screen

'Company name' refers to the company or professional that purchased the hearing
protection in question. All attenuation results and PDF certificates will be stored in a
folder labeled using this name.
'Language for printing' applies only to the Personal Attenuation Control Certificate and
can differ from the screen language (selected under Parameters/Language).

6.4 Product screen

Select the product to be tested from the drop-down list.
If a product is not on the list, check that its corresponding probe is selected and
has passed the System Check.

6.5 Calibration screen

The probes in use must be calibrated daily. We strongly recommend calibrating these
probes on-site just before use.
Make sure the probe and headphones are connected to the soundcard.
Place the probes in the corresponding openings of Check disc 1 as
explained in the on-line help. When Check disc 1 is correctly positioned,
the probes will sit as shown on the right:
