Installation
u Using the USB cable provided, connect the SafetyMeter soundcard to a free USB slot
on your computer.
We recommend always using the same USB slot of the PC if possible, so that you
are not requested to install the soundcard driver again.
Windows Vista and Windows 7 users must manually set the Phonak soundcard as the
default sound device in Windows settings.

u In the Start menu of
your PC, select "Control
Panel" then "Sound"
settings.

Installation
u In the
"Playback"
menu, select
the Phonak
PAC Speakers.
u Connect the headphone cable to the HEADSET socket of the soundcard.
Check that the cable is properly attached to the headphones' cups: the blue
connector must be plugged into the cup with the L mark. The red connector must
be plugged into the R cup.
Select the probe you are going to use first. Plug it into the PROBE socket of the soundcard.
The software will issue a warning message if the headphones and probe have been
wrongly connected to the soundcard.

"Recording"
menu, select
the Phonak
PAC Line.
