EKSTRA PLUS comes as a device that is to be used on a counter. The front part is made of
thermoplastic material and the rear in painted sheet metal.

- The control panel at the front has 4 buttons to select the stations and 6 buttons to control the
process; a display for displaying the functions of the machine.
- The front part includes the compartment for maintenance to be performed on the instruments in 4
stations, for the turbines and for the handpieces. This compartment is closed with a door that is
opened and closed manually.
- The cabinet contains all the electric, pneumatic and hydraulic components for machine operation:

A 1-litre tank for the disinfectant with a filler inlet (Fig. 8), a drain outlet (Fig. 9) and a level
indicator.

A 1-litre tank for the lubricant with a filler inlet (Fig. 8), a drain outlet (Fig. 9) and a level
indicator.

A device for the internal rotation of the handpieces.
OPERATION: Maintenance is performed inside the air and water ducts of the turbines and
handpieces as well as in the compartments of the moving mechanical parts.
This is performed automatically according to the mode selected by the user: COMPLETE or just
LUBRICATION.
An additional EKSTRA cycle performs a complete treatment with double detergent
cleansing and drainage, if the user deems it necessary.
