The appliance should not be operated by means of an

Do not connect the appliance to the mains supply by an

Never open the casing of the appliance. Tampering with

electrical connections or components and mechanical parts
is highly dangerous and can cause operational faults or
electric shock.
Do not heat up tins in the microwave oven. Pressure can

build up and they may explode, resulting in injury or
damage.
Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual, in order to avoid

hazardous situations.
Before connecting the appliance to a socket outlet, make sure the voltage indicated on the

appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage.
For safety reasons, this class I appliance is provided with a plug with earth connection. Always

connect this appliance to a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.
To check food temperature, first interrupt the cooking process. Only use a thermometer specifically

approved for food use. Never use a thermometer containing mercury or liquid, as these are not
suitable for use with very high temperatures and can break very easily.

Do not use the appliance if the door hinges are loose, and if holes or cracks are visible in the
enclosure, the door or the oven interior.

The appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.

The appliance is only completely isolated from the mains supply when it is switched off and the
plug removed.
Never use the appliance to store or dry items that could ignite easily. Moisture evaporates. risk of

Do not use the appliance to heat up cushions or pads filled with cherry kernels, wheat grains,
lavender or gel. These pads can ignite when heated, even after they have been removed from the
appliance.
Exercise caution when cooking or reheating food with a high sugar content. If heated for too long,

the sugar may caramelize or ignite.
The appliance is not suitable for cleaning or disinfecting items. Items can get extremely hot, and

there is a danger of burning when the item is removed from the appliance.
Never heat alcohol in the appliance as it can easily ignite. risk of fire!

If the appliance is equipped with a rack and gourmet plate, do not use the rack and gourmet plate
at the same time. That would damage the gourmet plate. Always place the gourmet plate directly
on the turntable.
Do not use this appliance to reheat food in heat-retaining bags intended for normal ovens, such as

roasting bags. Such heat-retaining bags usually contain a thin layer of aluminium foil that reflects
microwaves. This reflected energy could, in turn, cause the outer paper covering to become so hot
that it ignites.

Do not use the appliance for deep frying food. Do not leave it unattended when cooking with oils
and fats as these can be a fire hazard if allowed to overheat.

Wear oven gloves when taking dishes in and out of the appliance, or when handling dishes or food
in the appliance. Risk of burning!
