1. Remove the connector from the inner electronics box if it is installed.
2. Prepare the cable by removing the outer jacket and cutting any strength members, as shown in Figure 3-8.

3. Connect the conductors as appropriate for the power connector.

4. Raise the levers on all connections in the IDC plug as shown in Figure 3-9.

BLACK – 12V Rtn
RED – 12V +ve
