Color/State
Meaning
Green/Steady
The port has established a link and is enabled.
Amber/Steady
The port is connected, but an error condition is detected.
Off
The port is disabled or has no link.
Green/Blinking
The port is receiving data.
Green/Steady
The module has completed its power-on self-test and software
initialization and is operating normally.
Amber/Steady
The module failed its power-on self-test.
Amber/Blinking
The module has been inserted into the chassis and
diagnostics are running.
Off
The module power is off, or the power has been turned on, and
the module is going through its power-on self-test and software
initialization. A module in this state is not yet functional.
