Lay the left stair railing on the floor. (Railings are labeled on their underside.)
Affix a 29" coupling (with the shaped end up) to the top end of the railing, by sliding the
metal connectors over their mates on the railing.
Attach a 22" coupling in the same way to the bottom end of the railing.
The sub-assembly should appear as in the picture above.
Repeat this procedure for the right stair railing.
