The SP0123/10 is a cabinet housing one SP0123/00 sub-rack and its battery bank. SP0123/00 is a power supply sub-racks able to work with or without battery. The converter behaves as a quasi-resistive load seen from the low voltage mains it is connected to.

The battery location is separated from the sub-racks by a metal sheet in order to avoid gas from the batteries to enter in the rectifier’s area. However a 34 mm diameter hole is foreseen for the battery and earth cables. If two battery banks are installed, the optional battery shelf must be installed in order to dispose the second battery bank (the first bank lays on the bottom sheet of the cabinet).
1.2.2. SUB-RACK ENERALITIES The SP0123/00 (NC 9413 001 23001) is an 2U 19 inches sub-rack aimed at housing up to four rectifiers CAR1048TN (1000W at 230Vinput / 500W at 110V input) This sub-rack is designed to replace the PE3657/21. Features:...

3.3. INSTALLATION This part is provided for qualified personnel to install the product, which shall be mounted in a clean and dry environment 3.3.1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WARNING! Hazardous voltages are present at the input of power systems. The DC output from the rectifiers and battery system, though not dangerous in voltage, has a high short circuit current capacity that may cause severe burns and electrical arcing.
3.3.4. MOUNTING THE SUB-RACK (BASIC CONFIGURATION) WARNING! Make sure the line power is off. Turn off all input and output circuit on the sub-rack before making any electrical connections. WARNING! If stranded wires are used to connect the input and output blocks, ferules or equivalent crimping terminals must be used.
