(You can also use AIRport devices to trans- mit files between two desktop computers.) AIRport 1500 easily connects to your PC’s serial (COM) port.

    Positioning for Data Transfer Typically, you connect an AIRport 1500 to your desk- top computer to enable wireless communication with a built-in infrared device on a laptop or portable PC. The AIRport 1500 infrared lens must be in a direct line of sight with the infrared lens on the other com- puting device.
