    Unpack and inspect Remove all of the packaging material and check the TAG. If the Controller is damaged, follow the Edwards return of equipment procedures that are laid out in the back of this manual. Do not use the Controller if it is damaged.

    Allow 150 mm at the rear for cables. Allow 50 mm top and bottom and 15 mm to the sides for sufficient air circulation.     Mains-powered backing pumps, which do not have a logic interface (e.g. E2M 1.5), can be controlled by the TAG Controller using an external relay. See Figure 13 for how to connect the relay.     A single compatible active gauge can be connected to the TAG Controller. Fit the gauge using an Edwards active gauge cable into the gauge connector located on the rear panel (refer to Figure 9).

Please contact Edwards for details, quoting the serial number and the software version number of the TAG Controller. The software version number is shown on the display during power-up and is in the form "ISSxx".
