6.1 Disinfecting the whirltub system

How often?

Disinfect the whirltub system before using it for the first time, and then after every
tenth bath, but at least once a month and after a long period of no use.

How?

cAUTIoN
> Observe the safety instructions on the disinfectant label.
> Do NOT bathe in the whirltub while disinfecting it.
> Ensure that the room is well-ventilated during the disinfection process.
> Fill the tub with water.
> Add 2% chlorine bleach to the water in accordance with the manufacturer's instruc-
tions (approx. 15 ml).
> Turn on the air nozzles for 20 seconds.
> Allow the water in the tub to settle for 5 minutes.
> Turn on the air nozzles again for 20 seconds.
> Drain the water and rinse the tub.
> Fill the tub with water again.
> Turn on the air nozzles for 20 seconds.
> Drain the water.
> Wait until the tub has emptied completely.
> The air cleaning process starts after about 2 minutes.
> Wait until the air cleaning process is finished (about 4 mins.).
> Switch off the main switch.
> Repeat the process as necessary.

6.2 Sanitary-grade acrylic

> Clean acrylic with a soft damp cloth.
> Use the Duravit Maintenance Set for Acrylic Surfaces for the occasional thorough
cleaning and for removing stubborn spots.
> Remove extensive soiling with warm water and a liquid detergent, dish washing
liquid or soap suds. Do not use anything abrasive as this will cause damage.
