5.7.11. DNS Server Setting

Set a fixed DNS server address when setting a fixed WAN interface IP address or a DNS server cannot be acquired
through DHCP or PPPoE.
1. Open the [DNS] screen from [TOP]-[Maintenance]-[Network].
2. Set the DNS server address.
3. Click the "Apply" button.
4. Click the "Save" button.

The wait time for receiving DNS
response packet after proxy
DNS query packet can be set.
Set the timeout value until the
reception of response packet of
the DNS query packet (DNS
response). Setting range is from
1~50 seconds.
*This product manages up to
two DNS server addresses.
• Automatic: when the DNS
server address setting is
acquired through DHCP client
or PPP.
• Manual: when the DNS server
address is set with a fixed
value.

packet according to customer's network
and status.
Contents that are manually set are
prioritized even if it is acquired through
DHCP client and PPP functions.
