Installation

General preparation

Please check the appliance immediately after deli-
very for damage during transport or any other
damage or defects. The appliance is attached to
the pallet with screws at the bottom.
If you detect transport damage or any other
damage or defects, do not use the appliance
and notify the supplier.
Remove the detachable parts from the stove
before you begin installing the appliance.
It is easier to move the appliance and to avoid
damage if the removable parts have been remo-
ved.
Note the location of the removable parts, so
that you can re-position the parts in the correct
place later on.
The top plate (1) is loose on the stove and can
simply be lifted off of it; see next figure.

The cast iron side panels can also be easily
unhooked by loosening the top nut a bit; see
next figure.

1. Remove the glass pane from the stove; see next
figure.
a. Unhook the spring-action brackets (1) while
supporting the glass pane to prevent it from fal-
ling forward out of the door.
b. Remove the glass pane (2).

When replacing the glass pane, check that
the sealing cord is in the right place and fits
properly.
