b) Menu Settings
VOLUME dial switch (3) / SEL button (2)
To select the menu settings, please push the SEL button (2) a little longer (>2 seconds) and then push this
button once more, but only very briefly, until the desired function appears on the display.
The options at the respective setting are selected by turning the VOLUME dial switch or by pushing the
buttons VOL+/VOL- (3).
TA ON/OFF
TA ON:
The traffic announcement function is on.
TA OFF:
The traffic announcement function is off.
When you receive a traffic programme station, the display shows TP (traffic programme).
When you keep the TA button pushed, TA appears in the display as well.
If a different source is being played (e.g. SD playback), the programme is set to mute during the traffic
announcement.
If you listen to a current radio programme at very low volume, volume will automatically turn up for the
traffic report.
If the traffic announcement function is on (TA ON), only stations with traffic announcement are
received. When receiving stations without traffic announcement information, an automatic
search is initiated.
AF ON/OFF
AF ON:
AF is switched on.
AF OFF:
AF is switched off.
The AF function activates automatic station tracking (see „Radio Operation").
„AF" will be displayed. If the reception of an RDS transmitter station gets weaker or the radio does not
receive and RDS station at all, the display flashes. When an RDS station can be received well, the symbol
is displayed continuously.
When you leave a transmission area, the radio can only switch to a better station when the AF
function is activated (AF ON).
