GENERAL
The AlphaCom PSTN2IP ML is an alarm interface used to transmit alarm messages via IP to one or more
central stations.
The AlphaCom PSTN2IP ML can receive /generate messages from:
The PSTN connection
The serial connection (client-specific-application)
Internal (for example the tamper switch)
and can buffer these messages in an event buffer of maximum 100 messages. In the case that there are more
than 100 messages in the event buffer, then the oldest message will be erased and the new message will be
added (last in – first out).
From the buffer the AlphaCom PSTN2IP ML will transmit the message(s) to one of more central stations.

The AlphaCom PSTN2IP ML can be set-up and configured via a web interface. The set-up and
configuration is explained in the following pages.
