Extension Systemphones
2.1.5
The

of System phones and ordinary approved telephones.
The System phone has full loudspeaking capability, a

The Systemphone uses Pulse or TouchTone signalling. The selector
switch, which is of the rotary type, is located under the Systemphone as
shown in Figure
anticlockwise for Pulse (marked P) or clockwise for Touch Tone
(marked T).
The System phone also has the ability to switch from Pulse to TouchTone
from the keypad. With the telephone off-hook, press the* key to switch
the internal dialler to TouchTone signalling. Once the System phone has
been switched in this way, it will remain in TouchTone signalling mode
until it goes on-hook again.
