This table shows maximum values. The torque necessary to make a sufficient seal depends on the condition of the pipe
threads and could be much lower than the maximum.

For hydraulic fittings, lubricate the O-rings with hydraulic fluid or O-ring lubricant before assembly.

Hypertherm recommends using thread sealant on all NPT hydraulic fittings. When using thread sealant on a male
tapered pipe thread with a female straight or parallel pipe thread, the maximum value is 50% of the standard maximum.
