2-4. Adjustment of Laser Luminance and Luminance Sensor

Perform this adjustment when replacing any of the following:
B board, SB board, laser light source unit (F), optical unit (F) assembly, optical unit (F) assembly internal
parts (PS converter, prism (F) assembly, out-pre-polarizer (R)/(G)/(B))
Be sure to perform this adjustment in the ambient temperature range of 15 Cd to 30 Cd.

. The laser diode is used as a light source of this unit.
Never allow the light source to emit light with the cabinet removed.
Otherwise, it may cause damage to eyes or skin.
. Do not remove the lens when the set is lighting.
Otherwise, it may cause damage to eyes or skin.
. Do not release the protection circuit with the cabinet removed.
Otherwise, the light source may suddenly start emitting light, causing damage to eyes or skin.
. In order to avoid inappropriate use of the laser diode, do not disassemble the laser source unit (F).
. When performing the adjustment that requires turning the power of this unit off and on, be sure to
perform the operation with the top cover assembly attached..
. Perform the adjustment of laser luminance and luminance sensor after 30 minutes have passed since
you turned on the power.

. Bandpass filter (product code: #86-350) made by Edmund Optics or the equivalent

. Brightness Adjustment Tool software
