How to receive the MIDI dump in SysEx Librarian:
First, install SysEx Librarian and make sure that you have the appropriate
MIDI connection between the unit and the Mac. To save the SysEx dump
on the Mac, please do the following:
1. Launch SysEx Librarian.
2. Hold the center Select button on your Neo pedal and connect it to
your PC. Release the Select button when the main LED turns violet.
3. Select your MIDI interface in the dropdown menu at the top (if it's not
already selected)
4. Click the 'Record Many' button.
5. Hold the BYPASS footswitch on your Neo pedal to initiate the dump.
6. Press the 'Done' button.
7. When the dump is completed doubleclick the newly created file in
the window and.name it. It has automatically been saved to your
home directory ( under /Users/<your name>/Documents/SysEx
Librarian/ ).
How To Send The Data Back To Your Unit:
1. Launch SysEx Librarian.
2. Connect your Neo pedal to your computer with the USB cable.
3. Select your MIDI interface in the dropdown menu at the top - it
should be called "Alexander MIDI."
4. Drag the MIDI SysEx file from the Finder into the frame of SysEx
Librarian (if it's not already in there).
5. Select it with the mouse.
6. Click Play.
