Tighten anti-sway bars / chains (must be firm, not rigid)
Connect top link to tower.
Connect driveshaft to P.T.O. on tractor and clutch / gearbox on profiler,
make sure clamp bolts and or Q.R. pins are located in respective grooves.
(Failure to do this will result in driveshaft damage).
Tractor lift arms can vary in length. CHECK OPERATIONAL LENGTH OF
DRIVESHAFT BEFORE OPERATING PROFILER.
Check length of driveshaft at the highest and lowest positions of tractor lift
arms.
The driveshaft requires sliding movement of approx. 100 mm (4") to avoid
bottoming or pulling apart at maximum operational lengths.
Caution entering & exiting steep gullies or steep ridges may result in drive
shaft bottoming out or coming apart. Check drive shaft length before using
Profiler in extreme conditions.

Setting Up Your Soil Profiler

Soil profiler should be set up to the correct profiling height by adjusting
front steel wheels, side skids, hydraulic adjusted tower, and hydraulic
adjusted chute.
The rear of the machine is adjusted by the rear wheel by placing the bolt in
the higher or lower position.
Profiler should be set at a level stance when viewed from the side. PTO
speed is critical, it is best to keep engine revs up.
To achieve optimum results, give PTO max torque (Optimum Blade Tip
Speed), ground speed can then be adjusted by using lower gear in heavy
going and higher gear in light going.
