5.4 HEART RATE ISSUE

Symptom:
 Heart rate does not work.
Solution:
 Check the battery on the chest strap.
A. Re-center the strap on the user's chest (Figure A). Apply a light amount of moisture to

the chest strap sensors.
B. Replace the chest strap.

 With a multi-meter set for ohms, measure the resistance of the heart rate receiver wire.
Replace the wire if no resistance is found (1000412131+1000411433).
 If the receiver wire checks good, or replacing the wire does not resolve the issue, replace the
console connected wire (1000411432).
 If replacing the receiver wire, console connection wire does not solve the issue, replace the
console (1000428840).
