ENGINE OIL AND fiLTER
Engine oil quality is the chief factor
affec-
ting
engine service life. Change the engine
oil when specified by the maintenance
schedule.
NOTE:
•
Change the engine oil with the engine
warm and the motorcycle on its center
stand to assure complete and rapid
draining.

crankcase

Remove the under cowl

the fixing bolts

Remove the oil filter

with a filter
wrench

remaining
oil drain
out.
Discard
the oil filter

Apply a thin coal of engine oil to the new
oil filter
