CLUTCH
This motorcycle has a hydraulically ac-
tuated clutch. There are no adjustments
to
perform but the clutch
~ystem
must be in·
spected periodically for fluid level and
leakage.
If
the corurol lever freeplay
becomes excess!le and the motorcycle
creeps or stalls when shifted into gear, or if
the clutch slips, causing acceleration to lag
behind engine speed. there is probably air in
the clutch system and it must
be
bled out.
See your authorized
Honda
dealer for this
service.
Fluid
level:
Check that the fluid level is above the lo\\er
I{'vel mark (I).
If
the nuid
le~el
is near the
lower level line, it indicates fluid leakage.
See your authorized
Honda
dealer for
repair.
Other Checkes:
{\Iake sure there aTe no fluid leaks. Check
for deterioration or
crack~
in the hose and
rillings.
