Lift-Lock Lever
Use the lift-lock lever to secure the lift switch

between mowing locations.
Mow/Transport Slide
Using your heel, move the mow/transport slide to the
left to transport, and to the right to mow
Note:
The cutting units operate only in the mow
position.
Important:
The mow speed is set at the factory
to 9.7 km/h (6 mph). You can increase or decrease
the mow speed by adjusting the speed-stop screw
(Figure
19).

Indicator Slot
The indicator slot in the operator platform indicates
when the cutting units are in the center position
(Figure
16).
Throttle
Move the throttle forward to increase the engine
speed and rearward to decrease the engine speed
(Figure
17).
PTO Switch
The PTO switch has 2 positions: O
I
(stop). Pull the PTO switch out to engage the
N
cutting-unit blades. Push the switch in to disengage
the cutting-unit blades
Cutting-Unit Shift Lever
To lower the cutting units to the ground, move the
cutting-unit shift lever forward. To raise the cutting
units, pull the shift lever rearward to the R

17).
