INSTALLATION
•. The.appliance.should.
be.installed.as.shown.
in.the.upper.diagram.
(all.measurements.are.
in.mm).
•. Measurements.for.the.
appliance's.ventilation.
openings.and.
distances.to.nearby.
countertops.and.back.
and.side.panels.must.
be.strictly.observed,.
in.order.to.prevent.
the.appliance.from.
overheating.and.
becoming a fire
hazard..
•. Air.must.be.able.to.circulate.underneath.the.appliance,.behind.the.appliance.
and.through.the.opening.at.the.top.of.the.appliance.when.it.is.installed.
• The appliance should be firmly fastened using the four screw holes (5) behind
the.oven.door.(7).
•. The.appliance.must.be.connected.to.a.one-phase.230.V.AC.current.and.
earthed.
PREPARING THE APPLIANCE
Each.individual.apparatus.is.checked.at.the.factory,.but.for.safety's.sake,.after.
unpacking.it,.you.should.check.carefully.that.it.has.not.been.damaged.during.
transport..Check.whether.there.is.any.visible.damage.(e.g..in.the.form.of.dents.or.
similar),.if.the.door.closes.properly,.and.if.the.hinges.are.in.order..If.the.appliance.
appears.to.have.been.damaged,.contact.the.shop.where.you.bought.it,.and.do.not.
use.it.until.it.has.been.checked.by.an.authorised.specialist..
•. Make.sure.that.you.have.removed.all.packaging,.all.stickers.and.transport.
materials.from.the.inside.and.outside.of.the.oven.
•. Have.the.appliance.properly.installed.and.hooked.up.by.an.authorised.
electrician.(see.instructions.below).
•. Wash.and.wipe.the.grill.(9).and.the.baking.tray.before.use.
The.heating.elements.were.oiled.during.manufacture.and.these.can.therefore.smoke.
slightly when the oven is first used. This is entirely safe and will stop after a few
minutes..We.recommend.you.take.the.following.steps.before.using.the.appliance.for.
the first time:
•. Leave.the.oven.door.ajar.
•. Set.the.function.selector.(2).to.Upper.and.Lower.heating.(c),.and.set.the.
temperature.control.(3).to.250.°C.
•. Allow.the.appliance.to.heat.for.approx..15.min.,.and.then.turn.it.off.
The.smoke.will.now.have.completely.disappeared,.and.you.can.use.the.apparatus.
to.cook.food.
USING THE APPARATUS
1.. Set.the.temperature.selector.to.the.desired.oven.temperature.
2.. Select.the.required.function.using.the.function.selector.(see.the.above.section.
Function.Selector.Positions).
o. The.heat.indicator.(4).shuts.off.when.the.desired.temperature.is.reached..
o. The.heat.indicator.will.then.continue.to.switch.on.and.off.when.the.appliance's.
thermostatic.control.turns.on.and.off.the.heat.to.maintain.a.constant.
temperature.
3.. .When.the.cooking.time.has.elapsed,.turn.the.function.selector.to.o.(i).and.the.
temperature.control.to.•.(0.º)...to.switch.the.apparatus.off..
FUNCTION SELECTOR FUNCTIONS
Defrosting
The.appliance.can.be.used.to.defrost.food.in.a.careful.manner.
•. Place.the.food.in.the.appliance.
•. Turn.the.function.selector.to.Defrost.(b)..
•. The.appliance.switches.on.and.begins.circulating.air.around.the.food.in.order.to.
defrost.it..
•. Optionally,.set.the.temperature.control.to.a.higher.temperature.to.defrost.faster..
Note,.however,.that.excessive.heat.can.compromise.the.quality.of.the.food.
product.
•. TIP!.When.defrosting,.it.is.advisable.to.set.the.temperature.as.low.as.possible.
and.to.place.the.food.in.an.ovenproof.dish.or.the.like.to.catch.the.juices.
Normal oven function
•. Place.the.food.in.the.appliance..
•. Turn.temperature.selector.to.the.desired.temperature.
•. Set.the.function.selector.to.Upper.and.lower.heat...
Convection function
Caution! Convection ovens are more efficient than normal ovens. If you use the
convection.function,.then.the.cooking.time.will.most.likely.be.shorter.than.with.a.
normal.oven.
