Locate Forward-Facing
Belt Path
Thread the connector with the
adjuster closest to it though the
Forward-Facing Belt Path
opening as shown.
Pull it across the seat. Then
thread it through the other
Forward-Facing Belt Path
opening.
Do not twist belt.
Finished Lower Anchor
Belt Routing
Place Car Seat Forward-
Facing in Back Seat

Make Car Seat Flush
Against Vehicle Seat
Put the child restraint into
Position 1.
Only use the semi-reclined position
if necessary to install the child
restraint flush against the vehicle
seat back.
Vehicle seat back must be
upright.
NOTE: If your vehicle seat has
a headrest that interferes with
achieving a fl ush car seat
fi t, check your vehicle owner's
manual to see if it can be
removed, adjusted, or if there
are other possible seating
locations.

Loosely Attach Tether Hook
to Vehicle's Tether Anchor
Check vehicle owner's manual
for specific location.
