Leviton 7535 Installation

WARNINGS:

a. TO SIDE WIRE (See Wiring Diagram).
NOTE: Not applicable for 7524-C or 7526-C.
NOTE: Refer to NEC tables for proper wire type and size for your
application and load.
Remove insulation 3/4 in (1.9 cm). Connect wires by looping wires
clockwise 3/4 turn around terminal screws (DO NOT tin conductors).
Tighten screws over wire to 14 in-lbs (1.58 N-m).
• White wire to silver (neutral) screw(s).
• Black wire to brass (hot) screw(s).
b. TO BACK WIRE (See Wiring Diagram):
NOTE: Refer to NEC tables, article 400 for proper wire type and
size for your application and load.
Remove insulation 1/2 in (1.27 cm). Insert straight wires under clamps next
to appropriate terminal screws.
(DO NOT tin conductors). Tighten screws to 14 in-lbs (1.58 N-m)
• White wire to terminal pocket(s) corresponding to silver (neutral) screw(s).
• Black wire to terminal pocket(s) corresponding to brass (hot) screw(s).

. Mount device with mounting screws. Attach wall plate.

. Restore power.

a. CÂBLAGE LATÉRAL (se reporter au schéma): REMARQUE : Non applicable pour les modèles 7524-c et 7526-c.
REMARQUE: Se reporter aux tableaux du National Electrical Code américain (ou à leurs équivalents locaux) pour savoir quels type et calibre de
fil utiliser en fonction de l'application et des charges en présence. Dénuder les fils sur 3/4 po (19,05 mm). Enrouler les fils sur les bornes de trois
quarts de tour vers la droite (NE PAS étamer les conducteurs). Serrer les vis sur les fils en appliquant un couple de 14 po-lb (1,58 N.m).
• Enrouler le fil blanc autour de la ou des vis argentées (neutres).
• Enrouler le fil noir autour de la ou des vis laitonnées (actives).
