RS232 Pin Assignment and Functions

The RS232 pin assignment is shown in Figure 8 and the interface functions are listed in Table
7.

The data protocol is permanently set to 1200 baud, ASCII character code with eight bits per
character, one stop bit, and no parity bit. The serial port of the controlling computer must be
configured with the same settings. Use a straight-through cable to connect the TB9 grating
filter to the serial port of a DTE (computer).
