CONNECTIONS

CONNECTING YOUR TV

The unit can be connected to your TV in several different ways,
depending on the design of your TV. Always make sure the power is
off and the power cord is disconnected from the wall outlet.
Coaxial Antenna Jack
Some TVs do not have RCA or S-Video jacks; they have a coaxial
antenna jack. To connect this unit to such TVs, you must use an RF
modulator (not supplied, available at RadioShack).
S-Video Jack
1. Use an S-Video cable (not supplied, available at your local
RadioShack store) to connect the
unit to the S-VIDEO IN jack on your TV.
2. Use the supplied audio/video cable to connect ONLY the
AUDIO OUT L/R
jacks on your unit to the AUDIO IN jack on
your TV. Do not connect the yellow Video plug.

1. Connect the supplied audio/video cable' s yellow plug to the
jack on your unit. Connect the other end to your
VIDEO OUT
TV' s VIDEO IN jack. See diagram of "Connecting a VCR".

2. Connect the
AUDIO OUT L/R
AUDIO IN jacks.
Note: Do not connect S-Video, Component Video, and Video Output
at the same time.

CONNECTING A VCR

1. Connect your unit to your TV. .
2. Use a video cable (not supplied) to connect the
jack on your unit to the VIDEO OUT jack on your VCR.
3. If you want the sound to come from the speakers of the main
unit, you need to connect the left and right audio cables from
the unit to your TV. Use an audio cable (not supplied) to
connect the
jacks on your unit to the
AV IN L/R
AUDIO OUT L/R jacks on your VCR.

1. Use an audio cable (not supplied) to connect the
jacks on your unit to the AUDIO IN L/R jacks
