• When the vehicle is parked rear-
ward
If the vehicle is parked rearward and
the sensor detects the another vehi-
cle in the rear area of the parking
space, the system may not warn
properly. Always pay attention to the
parking space while driving.
Non-operating condition
The BCW indicator on the outer
side view mirror may not illumi-
nate properly when:
• The outer side view mirror housing
is damaged.
• The mirror is covered with dirt,
snow, or debris.
• The window is covered with dirt,
snow, or debris.
• The window is tinted.
