Along with software updates, touch-screen interface
enhancements include the following simplified
screen graphics:
Home Screen
• One home screen with simplified "four corners"
status bars helps improve readability and utility
• Large, prominent clock
• Larger font and high-priority items are larger
• Touch areas look more like actual buttons for
intuitive use
Phone Screen
• Larger font and "Back" button for easier visibility
• Information formatted to fit within one screen
• Phone options activate only when a call is connected
for even better connectivity
Activating a SYNC Owner Account enables customers to take advantage of features such as Vehicle Health
Report (VHR) and SYNC Services. With Auto Activation, you can create a SYNC Owner Account on Smart
VINCENT for your customers at delivery and assist with pairing their phone. Customers can then visit
support.ford.com to change the temporary password and personalize their account by setting up favorites
for sports, weather, news, horoscopes and stock quotes.
