This Universal Cross Arm part, of the GridLink™ Rigging Beam System,
adapts to GridLink™ Rigging Beams, Steerables™ wall and ceiling mounts
to provide a horizontal adjustment for aiming loudspeakers
Note to installers
Due to the wide variety of wall structures, materials and mounting
methods, these instructions assume that the installing contractor will
exercise proper judgment in selecting the mounting area and hardware.
As a guide, the installation, when complete should be capable of
supporting 5 to 10 times the actual applied load. Always use a back up
safety system such as a safety cable.
To assure a trouble free installation, read through and follow these
instructions carefully before beginning. If you have doubts about
the integrity of the structure you are mounting to or you are not
sure about the proper hardware to use, consult a structural and/or
hardware specialist.
Be sure that all of the following items are included in this kit before proceeding:

Note: Screws and washers to attach speaker to adapter plate are not included
Step 1: For Use with Cable Kit
For use with the Adjustable Tilt Cable Kit, attach 5/16" eyebolts to cross arm
with flat washers and nylock nut permanently. Align eyebolts with Cross Arm
then press on the plastic end cap (Figure 1).
Step 2: Assemble Cross Rigging Beam
For use with Adjustable Tilt Cable Kit, align the center hole of the cross arm
to the selected hole on the rigging beam then permanently secure the cross
arm using the 1/2" x 7" long hex bolt, bearing washer, flat washer, nylock nut
and cotter pin. Make sure that the head of the hex bolt is towards the floor
(Figure 2).
