OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Set up the unit on a level, stable surface close to a power outlet. Turn the Lid counter-
clockwise and lift to take it off the multicooker. Remove any accessories or manuals as well
as the Inner Pot, and put the Condensation Collector in place on the unit.
Put the food items to be cooked into the Inner Pot. Be sure that the food doesn't exceed the
"Max" level marking in the pot. Make sure the bottom and sides of the pot are clean and dry,
and carefully place in the multicooker. The inner pot must be flat on the bottom of the unit.
NOTE: DO NOT use the unit without the Inner Pot.
Verify that the Sealing Gasket is clean and clear of any debris or obstructions, and securely
placed in the proper position in the lid. Place the Lid on the unit and lock the Lid by turning the
handle clockwise.
CAUTION: If the Sealing gasket is dirty, in the incorrect position, or pinched between the lid and the Multicooker, the unit may not
be able to build up proper pressure and the lid may not lock shut. If the float valve does not raise to the up position while heating,
turn unit off and turn the Steam Release to 'Venting' for several minutes before attempting to remove the lid.
Put the Steam Handle into position and ensure that it is securely on. Make sure that it is down before pressure cooking in the unit.
NOTE: The Steam Handle does not lock into place and will remain somewhat loose.
