The IO5 pin, which is also available on connector P4 (pin #3), can be used to manage an external RS-485 transceiver. In this case it will be necessary to use this
signal as RTS# signal, and drive it opportunely to select the flow direction on RS-485 port (transmit or receive).
3.3.6
SMA Connectors
The SENSE-D47 module offers three different SMA connectors.
SMA1 Connector must be used for WiFi/BT antenna functionality.
SMA2 connector must be used for GPS (GNSS) functionality.
SMA3 connector must be used for GSM/GPRS or LTE antenna.
Please be aware that the module is not supplied with the external antennas, which must then be provided by the customer.
3.3.6.1 RECOMMENDED ANTENNAS
It is recommended that the system is used with antenna with characteristics non-pejorative than those indicated in the following tables.
