1. Depending on the version, remove the lid of the filtering area or the heater lid (versions NMO 30 and 50), or remove the
skimmer collection cup (version NMO30R).
2. Adjust to the required temperature using the special knob on the NEWA Therm Eco heater. For safety reasons, regularly check
the temperature using an accurate immersion thermometer.
V.f LIGHTING AND TIMER SETTING
All NEWA More aquariums are fitted with high-quality LED lights that can guarantee extremely effective light for a long service
life. The brightness of the white and actinic LED lights ensures the constant growth of flora and the wellbeing of fish. The lighting
system in the NEWA More aquariums is controlled by switches with Touch control that allows the two different types of lighting
(white and actinic) to be switched on manually.

If you wish to opt for maximum customisation, the timer can be easily set by following the instructions below (except for the
version NMO 20).
WARNING: when connecting to the power supply for the first time, the lighting system will calibrate the Touch buttons. To
activate them, all you need to do is place a finger, for a few moments, on the button required.
To set the timer, proceed as follows:
1. Setting the timer allows the switching ON/OFF of the day lights (white LEDs) to be automated for the number of hours
required, starting from the moment they are set. The blue LEDs will switch on an hour earlier, automatically switching off an
hour after switching ON/OFF the day lights (white LEDs). The blue LEDs cannot be set by the timer.
ON
2. Enter the setting function by pressing both buttons, for a few moments, to switch on the LEDs (white and blue): the blue LEDs
will begin to flash.
3. Press the button "+1h" (white LED light button) for a number of times equal to the number of hours you want the light to stay
on. Every time you press, the white LEDs will switch on to confirm your selection. (EXAMPLE: if you want the aquarium lighting
to switch on every day at 9.00am and switch off at 5.00pm, just once, you will need to set the timer to 9.00am and press the
button "+1h" 8 times).
4. To confirm the setting and then exit, press the button "OK" (blue LED light button).
5. The white LEDs will flash for a number of times equal to the number of hours set for the day light to stay on.
WARNING: after the initial setting, the white LED lights and the blue LED lights will switch on together at the set
time. When switched on again after the initial setting, the blue LED lights will switch on 1 hour before the day
lights and will switch off 1 hour later.
6. If there is an error in the timer setting, repeat the procedure from step 2 to step 4.
7. To deactivate the timer, it is necessary to enter (step 2) and then exit from the setting (step 4) without pressing the button
"+1h" (white LED light button).
N.B.
1. WARNING: In the event of a power failure, even for a few seconds, the setting on the timer will be deleted: it
will be necessary to reset the timer.
2. If the day light (white LED light button) is switched off manually while the lighting system, controlled by the timer, is switched
on: when it is switched on again manually, the white LED lights will flash the same number of times as the number of hours set.
3. If the day or night light (white/blue LED light button) is switched on manually while the lighting system, controlled by the
timer, is switched off: the white and blue LED lights will stay on until they are automatically switched off by the timer, unless
this is done manually.
4. If the device does not respond to the commands, turn off the power supply by disconnecting the power adapter for at least
15", and then reset the timer.
