Assembly and installation
Preparation
1. Check if the packaging is in good condition
2. Carefully unpack the filter
3. Check if everything is in the box
○ Filter body
○ Pump
○ Foot for the pump
○ Connection hoses
○ Valve and accessories to install
○ Connections
4. Install the filter on horizontal soil. Take care having enough space around the filter to be able to
execute an easy maintenance.
5. Use sand of this grain size: 0,4 - 0,8 mm.
6. Check whether all internal parts are in good condition and are properly attached before you fill
the body.
7. Fill half the body with water before you fill it with sand or glass beads. Only then, the body is
filled gradually.
8. Once the body is filled with the right amount of sand or glass beads, the top part of the body
has to be cleaned thoroughly at the level of the filter valve.
9. Make sure all parts are dry. Apply a little bit of grease to the sealing ring and attach the valve to
the filter body.
