Assembly and installation Preparation 1. Check if the packaging is in good condition 2. Carefully unpack the filter 3. Installation Assemble the body to the foot of the pump Glue the collector to the distributor. Roughen the PVC and use degreaser for a better adhesion. Use a sufficient amount of glue. - Page 7 Assemble 2 distribution rods to the distributor and put everything inside the filter body . Now assemble the rest of the distributor rods and put the distributor on the bottom. Fill half the filter body with water. After, fill the other half with sand or glass beads without sand or let glass beads fall in the PVC-pipe.
- Page 8 Put the o-ring on the valve Put the valve on the filter body and make sure the PVC-pipe is inside. Assemble the clamp and tighten the valve properly.
- Page 9 Assemble the pressure gauge to the side of the valve. Insert the screws through the holes of the foot of the pump and screw the pump on it. This foot is used for multiple models. With some models the screws don’t fit on the pump.
- Page 10 Saw the included flexible PVC-pipe in 2 adequate pieces. Glue these 2 pieces of PVC-pipe into an elbow of 90°. Screw the included connection of 50 mm to the pump connection of the valve. Use Teflon for an optimal sealing. Glue 1 end of the pipe into the connection of 50 mm and the other end into the connection with swivel to assemble to the pump.

Starting the filter kit a. Clean the swimming pool before starting the kit b. Check whether the filter body and the pre-filtration unit of the pump are filled with water. c. Check whether the valve of the filter body is installed properly and make sure all air is out of the pump. -

Maintenance The filtering plays an important part in the proper functioning of the swimming pool. The filter installation will last a long time if it is maintained correctly. Therefore respect following advice: If you want to perform labours inside the body, first remove the sand before removing the valve. Attention ! ○... -

Using the valve Filter Regularly check the pressure gauge. If your initial pressure has increased by 0.2 bar, it is time to backwash. Closed The valve is closed, communication with the pump is interrupted. You can now open the lid of the pre-filtration unit of the pump. Recirculation In this position the water doesn’t pass through the filter body and flows directly to the swimming pool. -
