The bottom of the lifting tube includes a hex head bolt which
must be backed off so the minor diameter of the jack ram can slide
into the bottom of the lifting tube. Place the round jack base flat
on the floor. Slide the lifting tube over the ram and secure them in
place by tightening the hex head bolt.
2.
A detent pin is connected to the top of the lifting column by way
of a wire lanyard. Install the detent pin in the hole on the telescopic
saddle tube closest to the saddle. Allow the exposed ends of the
detent pin to rest on the lifting tube.
3.
Sometimes air gets trapped in the hydraulic system during
shipment. An air bound hydraulic system feels spongy when
pumped and sometimes the jack will not pump in full incremental
strokes.
