Intended Use

The product is used as a decorative solar lamp for gardens or
terraces. The solar panel integrated in the device charges the
(replaceable) rechargeable battery during the hours of daylight. The
Solar light switches on the light automatically when darkness falls,
and the rechargeable battery in the device provides the energy for
the light. The light is generated by a bright LED (light diode). This
ensures a relatively high luminosity combined with low energy
consumption. During the day, the solar light switches itself off
automatically.
The solar light is designed for domestic use, and is not for use in
commercial premises. Any use other than that described above is
not permitted.

Assembling and Setting up

 Dispose of packaging material carefully or store it out of reach of
children. There is a danger of suffocation!
 Remove the plastic strap from the battery compartment which
has been installed for transport safety purpose.
 Assemble the solar light as pictured on the overview page III.
 Always insert the ground stake (4) completely into the soil.
 Do not position the solar light directly next to other sources of
light such as courtyard lighting or streetlights, since this could
prevent the solar light from switching on at the right time.
 Make sure that the solar light is mounted in a stable manner.
Install the solar light in such a way that nobody can trip over it.
 The solar light is designed to resist the elements and is thus
protected against dampness; it should not, however, be directly
subjected to wetness or placed directly in water. Select a suitable
place to set up the lamp, e.g. the edge of a terrace, garden path
or flowerbed.
