(3) System information / Update
Here you can find information on customer
service and learn more about the hardware and
operating status of your SoundCam.
If there is new software for your unit, carry out
the update (see Software update, p. 43) via this
menu.
(4) Recording path, measurement series and screenshots
Set the default storage location for your recordings
here if it is not to be the SoundCam root directory.
A tap on the folder symbol opens the directory and
file selection
(see Figure 25, p. 23) with the option of changing or
creating new directories.
The total length of the file path must not exceed 256 characters, otherwise saving is not
possible (an error message is displayed).
In addition, comments can be created for screenshots. To do this, check the box Comment under
Screenshots. If this function is activated, the user is prompted to enter a text after creating the
screenshot. This comment is saved in a text file with the same name as the file of the screenshot.
