Scale display axes
All three axes are scalable. In the standard view, the spectrum or sonogram covers the entire
frequency range from 0 - 24 or 0 - 100 kHz. In addition, the sonogram shows the entire recording
duration and the level range between 0 and 80 dB.
For some applications, an enlarged, "zoomed-in" display is desirable in order to be able to capture
the relevant areas more precisely.
A quick method that also works during measurement:
In the sonogram display window, use two fingers on the touch screen to spread or narrow the
frequency spectrum. The time axis can only be zoomed during analysis, not in live mode.
The zoomed section can be moved with two fingers.
You can only adjust the amplitude scale (Z) by numerical input, this is described below.
Shifting the upper and lower limits for the amplitude scale affects the colour spectral
representation of the sonogram.
