    Manuel d’utilisation 8. Entretien A. LAVAGE Le gilet n’est ni lavable en machine ni à la main. Il ne faut pas tremper l’électronique. Ceci pourrait endommager le système électronique présent à l’intérieur. Si vous souhaitez laver votre gilet, nous vous conseillons d’utiliser une éponge ou une brosse humide avec de l’eau tiède savonneuse.

    The vest should be stored carefully when not used. Keep it away from high temperatures (60°C) and humidity (e.g. to avoid mould). y The e-Turtle should only be used in a temperature range of -10 to + 45°C. Prolonged exposure of the system to temperatures below -10°C and above 45°C may impair the proper functioning of the system.

    User guide 4. Technical description The e-Turtle vest is provided with an electronic system incorporating an algorithm capable of analyzing the user’s movements. When abnormal movements, a fall or an accident are detected, the system automatically triggers the airbag to inflate before impact.

    User guide 6. Daily use A. THE VEST The vest is autonomous. Once switched on, the electronic system is automatically activated as soon as it detects movements and automatically switches to sleep mode when there is no activity for more than 45 seconds. 1.
  • Page 26 During the charging, the LED will remain orange. The charging time is around 3 hours with the Helite USB cable included with the vest. As soon as the LED turns green the charging is completed and you can reuse the vest.

    User Guide CAUTION The use of the fork sensor is not recommended with the use of non-approved accessories (exhaust pipe) and on a non-approved motorcycle. Some motorcycles prepared only for the race track may exceed a too high vibration threshold and mislead the sensor.

    Die Weste sollte bei einer Nicht-Benutzung sorgfältig aufbewahrt werden. Halten Sie die Weste von hohen Temperaturen (über 60 °C) und Feuchtigkeit fern. y Die e-Turtle sollte nur in einem Temperaturbereich von -10 bis + 45°C genutzt werden. Technische Beschreibung Die e-Turtle Airbag-Weste ist mit einem elektronischen System ausgestattet, welches einen Algorithmus enthält, der die Bewegungen des Fahrers analysiert. Wird eine anormale Bewegung, ein Sturz oder ein Unfall erkannt, so löst das System automatisch den Airbag aus. Bei einem Unfall ist der Airbag innerhalb von 80 ms ausgelöst.

    Bedienungsanleitung ACHTUNG Die Nutzung des Gabel-Sensors wird nicht empfohlen bei der Verwendung von nicht genehmigtem Zubehör (Auspuffrohr) und auf einem nicht genehmigten Motorrad. Einige Motorräder, die nur für die Rennstrecke vorbereitet sind, können eine zu hohe Schwingungsschwelle überschreiten und den Sensor in die Irre führen. C.
  • Page 44 Vor dem erneuten Nutzen des Systems müssen Sie folgende Punkte beachten: Die e-Kartusche ist durch eine neue Helite e-Kartusche der gleichen Kapazität ersetzt worden. Aus dem Airbag ist die Luft gänzlich entwichen. Die neue e-Kartusche ist durch das Kabel mit der Weste verbunden.

Dies könnte das elektronische System beschädigen. Wenn Sie Ihre Weste waschen wollen, empfehlen wir Ihnen einen Schwamm oder eine Bürste mit warmem Wasser und Seife zu benutzen.
