7.1
Burner Tray
The burner tray may be removed from the heater only from the front.
For the DualAir® unit the gas valves need to be disconnected from the burner manifold at the union
or flange provided before the burner tray may be pulled forward. The gas valves are accessible from
the controls compartment see Fig 1.1.
7.1.1
Remove the front lower heater cabinet panel.
7.1.2
The main valve will be connected to the main burner inlet manifold using the angled flange outlet of
the valve or a navy union.
The pilot gas supply will be in 4mm OD steel pipe and be connected to the pilot gas valve using a
suitable compression fitting.
Undo the pilot supply compression fitting.
Unplug the flame probe lead from its socket and the HT lead from the spark generator.
Disconnect the main burner gas supply pipe at the gas valve flange or navy union.
7.1.3
Unscrew the two screws securing the burner tray at the front, (Fig.7.1) and pull out the tray forwards
from the front of the heater.
7.1.4
To replace the tray reverse the above steps ensuring that the tray is firmly in its correct place with the
two fixing screws tight and that the gas pipe work is sound.
