vated and the reception level is 9 (meaning excellent reception).
ERROR MESSAGE
Additionally, the module can return an error message with the stated
message text in case it receives an unknown or wrong command (e.g.
ERROR). This makes sense for the fast detection of wrong entries (e.g. in
case of a typing error). The response is sent to the number that sent the
SMS.
Example:
You send an SMS to the module with the unknown command RRRR .
The module responds with:
ERROR

Data transmission

After saving, you can transfer the settings made with the software to the
module. As soon as the module is turned on, it tries to dial into the GSM
net. Without inserted SIM card or in case of a wrong PIN number (e.g. if
the module was not programmed yet), the module automatically goes
into programming mode. This is signaled with „WAITING FOR DATA..."
But you can also re-program the module at any time in running opera-
tion.
In Communication, select the virtual COM entered in the device man-
ager (in the system control) and press SEND. Now all data is sent to the
module and saved there. Please wait until the transfer is completed. The
software signals this with „all data transferred". The sent data is pre-
served in the module also after disconnecting and re-connecting the
operating voltage.
The module performs a reset when the configuration was successfully
transferred to the GSM module. As soon as the green GSM LED blinks,
the STATUS of all inputs and outputs can be displayed.
