CLEANING
1.
Hand wash the lid assembly and container in warm soapy
water. Rinse and dry. For a quick clean, add warm water to
the container with a drop of washing up liquid, assemble
the blender and operate it. Empty the container then rinse
and dry.

Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.
¬ You may wash these parts in the top rack of a dishwasher.
If you use a dishwasher, the harsh environment inside the
dishwasher will affect the surface finishes.
The damage should be cosmetic only, and should not affect the
operation of the appliance.

REMOVING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

We strongly recommend that a professional removes the
rechargeable battery. Parts of the motor case, and tools have
sharp edges and may cause injury if not handled correctly.
The rechargeable battery must be removed from the
appliance before it is scrapped.
Disconnect the charging adapter before removing the
battery.

Ensure that the battery is fully discharged. To do this,
operate your sports blender until it stops.
2.
Remove the motor unit.
3.
Turn the motor unit upside down and remove the four
screws (Fig F).
4.
Lift off the motor cover then lift out the battery (Fig G).
5.
Cut the battery wires (Fig H).
6.
The battery must be disposed of at an appropriate official
recycling/collection point.

To avoid environmental and health
problems due to hazardous substances,
appliances and rechargeable and non-
rechargeable batteries marked with one of
these symbols must not be disposed of with
unsorted municipal waste. Always dispose
of electrical and electronic products and,
where applicable, rechargeable and
non-rechargeable batteries, at an
appropriate official recycling/collection
point.
