The present mounting instruction contains information about:
The correct mounting of the light curtains SAFEGATE inside the FMC-SG/FMC-SGR columns.
The correct assembly of the plate and cover for FMC-SG/FMC-SGR columns.
The assembly of the FMC-SG/FMC-SGR columns on the FMC-CB/FMC-CBL stand bottom.
The correct alignment of emitters and receives (with our without mirror).
Please Note: find detailed information about the function of the light curtains / light grids in the relevant
mounting and wiring instructions.
MOUNTING BASE PLATE
Fasten the base plate as shown in Figure 11, using the provided screws, T.B.E.I. M6x16.

- Page 2 MOUNTING WITH FMC-CB/FMC-CBL STAND BOTTOM Mount the FMC-CB/FMC-CBL stand bottom on the floor. Please note: For a correct alignment, please verify that the stand bottom upper surface is even and horizontal (using a circular spirit level). To operate the regulation, act on the three hexagonal nuts (B) until the perfect levelness is reached.
- Page 3 MOUNTING OF SAFEGATE LIGHT CURTAINS Remove the cover (with the spirit level) from the top of the column. Place the inserts with 2 the pins M6x16 (A) in the holes in the column (Figure 14). Temporarily screw the M6x15 (B) screws on the pins (one screw rotation).

- Page 5 ALIGNMENT OF EMITTER AND RECEIVER After the barriers are assembled to the columns and secured to the ground, the last operation is the alignment of emitter and receiver. Perform the following steps: Make sure that the columns of emitter and receiver are in vertical position (placing a spirit level (A) on the top end of each stand).
