Cleaning the Radio Unit housing
The Radio Unit is designed to withstand the elements. Such as rain, snow and dust.
However, to ensure optimal performance you must keep the surface of the Radio Unit
clean. Brush off any ice or snow.
Repairing the Radio Unit
The Radio Unit is not designed for repair in the field. All repairs and modifications of the
unit, except for installation of new software versions and system setup, must be done by
qualified personnel. A failed Radio Unit should be shipped back to Kongsberg Maritime
AS or other agreed service point for repair.
