1.2. General Information

Features

The Behnke IP camera as well as the Behnke IP
camera in the Behnke 50/10 series SIP intercoms
stations requires a DHCP server to function as an
IP camera. The Behnke IP camera as well as the IP
camera in the Behnke 5/10 series SIP intercom sta-
tions cannot be operated with static IP addresses.
This function is reserved solely for the manufac-
turer for service purposes.
The wide angled Behnke IP Camera Module is a
proprietary Behnke development. By default, it
includes the software necessary to use the app
functionality. Using the app enables you to use
your mobile device for communication with people
at your front door and to also control the door

with the cameras 20-/21-/50-2907A-IP, 43-9587A-IP, 50-1204A/-1207A you can only see the video
stream via the app.

The camera provides video images with HD
resolution of up to 1280 x 720 pixels. The camera
features a large field of view with a horizontal
angular aperture of 180°. Additionally, the camera
features IR-LED illumination for night vision.
The video may be transferred to a video surveil-
lance system via RSTP stream. Motion-JPEG and
H.264 are available as compression methods.
