8 Using the ACTIVY Media Player 150

8.1 Menu basics

The ACTIVY Media Player 150 uses an on-screen menu interface to set up,
configure and control streaming of audio and video from the Internet or a media
server in on your network to your TV and home entertainment system. Use the
arrows on the remote control to navigate up, down, right and left through the menus.
The highlight bar moves from item to item as you press the selection arrows. In
some instances, you must press the OK button on the remote control to access the
pull-down menus within the individual options. You will then see one or more small
arrow key representations behind the highlighted bar. These arrow 'hints' are
intended to help you with menu navigation and show you the possible navigation
paths you may take. For example, a down arrow hints that more items are available
if you move the highlight bar down. Use the right arrow to move to the next menu
screen. Similarly, you can move to the previous screen using the left arrow. You can
also use the Back button to return to the previous screen.

8.2 Menu home screen

The Menu home screen is the top-level menu.
From this home screen, you can access the My
Servers, USB, Online Media and Viiv™ Zone
options.
To jump directly to the home screen, press the MENU button on the remote control.
